Meet The Face Behind VideoOttawa.ca

I’m Roger Nissenbaum, the proud owner of VideoOttawa.ca.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I was always fascinated with the big screen, so I decided to get into broadcasting. My early training gave me a leg up as I began to imbibe various genres and the different types of media communications available.

It gave me the ability to communicate complex subjects effectively by setting up scenes to capture perfect shots and combine them with clever storytelling. Subsequently, once I learned the ropes, I decided to launch a video production firm in 1995.

Over the past few years, I’ve noticed that my client base is rapidly expanding, as I offer helpful services for my clients, including transferring old videotapes to digital formats. I’m also always looking to push the envelope with creative concepts. 

Therefore, I listen carefully to understand what clients want and deliver tailored solutions for specific audiences. I work with integrity, and as an individual, I believe what sets me apart from the others is my honest feedback during all stages of production.

It’s especially rewarding to work on high-tech productions, which require a meticulous eye behind the camera. Consequently, I use innovative equipment while editing to create after-effects that exceed expectations. 

As a result, when I witness the happy smiles on my clients’ faces after a project gets successfully completed, it fills me with immense satisfaction. 

I’ve now been in the industry for thirty-nine years and hope to be crafting captivating videos in the studio for many more years to come.

Away from the studio, when I get some downtime, I love to go for relaxing long drives in my Porsche. I also support community projects that promote fairness for everyone as I believe in social equality.

I’ve enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
